The bridge that English kings and queens once crossed when traveling over the historic Thames River, now spans the Thompson Bay. Purchased by Robert McCulloch, the founder of the city, in 1962 the London Bridge cost $2,400,000 and took three years to dismantle and reconstruct, stone by stone, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
